What services do you offer?

We specialize in log and timber home restoration, maintenance, and refinishing, but our services go beyond wood. For exteriors, we handle finish removal, sanding, staining, painting, chinking, sealing, and full deck and railing restoration to keep your home protected and looking its best. For interiors, we offer staining, painting, wood finishing, repair, and fine finishwork for pieces like cabinets, mantels, and furniture.

Do you only work on log homes?

Not at all! While log and timber homes are a big part of what we do, our team is experienced in many other areas of home services. We restore all types of wood, handle painting on a variety of surfaces, and provide energy-efficient weatherproofing and air sealing. We also create handcrafted pieces like custom fireplace mantels, furniture, and smaller structures such as sheds or lean-tos.

How often should my log home or wood siding be maintained?

Although the exact timing depends on exposure and environment, a good rule of thumb is to plan a check-up every three years. This often means applying a clear coat to protect the exterior, with extra attention given to the more weather-exposed sides of your home. Staying on top of this maintenance helps prevent bigger issues and keeps your home looking its best for years to come.

Do you offer seasonal maintenance?

Yes. We provide seasonal check-ups and touch-ups upon request to help keep your home protected year-round, especially before harsh winter or summer weather.

Can you match existing stain colors?

Absolutely. We work with a wide range of stains and finishes and can custom match to maintain the look of your home.

What does a full-scale restoration include?

A full-scale restoration generally begins with removing old paint or finish to create a blank canvas. From there, we hand sand all wood surfaces to close inconsistent pores in the wood, ensuring a smooth and uniform stain job. Once the prep work is complete, we apply stain, paint, and chinking as needed. This process is also where we collaborate closely with homeowners to bring their vision to life and highlight the natural beauty of their home.

What products do you use?

We are proudly certified applicators for the three leading log home stain manufacturers: Sashco, Weatherall, and Perma-Chink. These high-quality products are built to protect and enhance log and timber homes, and our certification means they’re applied to the highest standards. This also allows us to offer limited warranties on our work, giving you added peace of mind.

What makes you different from other contractors?

We combine technical expertise with a true passion for craftsmanship. As certified applicators for leading products, we ensure every project is done to the highest standards for lasting results. Just as important, we take the time to collaborate with homeowners so the finished work reflects their vision and enhances the character of their home.

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes! We offer free consultations and estimates. We’ll walk you through the process and provide a clear, detailed quote before any work begins.

What areas do you serve?

We’re proudly based in the Wasatch Back, but our work extends far beyond it. We serve homeowners throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, as well as nearby mountain and valley communities. Don’t hesitate to reach out—we often love taking on projects in new areas.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind. If you’d like to see a copy of our insurance certificate, just reach out—we’re happy to share it with you.

How long does a restoration project take?

Project timelines vary depending on the size and condition of the home. Smaller jobs may take just a few days, while full restoration can take several weeks. We’ll give you a timeline estimate up front.

What type of warranties do you offer?

As certified applicators of Sashco, Weatherall, and Perma-Chink products, we’re able to provide limited manufacturer-backed warranties on our work. These warranties vary depending on the product and service, but generally cover premature failure of stains or finishes when applied according to manufacturer standards. We’ll walk you through the details of coverage during your project so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you work year-round?

Yes! While most exterior projects are completed during the warmer months, we also take on interior work throughout the year. This includes painting, staining, and fine finishwork like cabinets, mantels, and furniture. No matter the season, we’re here to help keep your home looking its best.
